I had to start over

I was ready to get up to speed this weekend, finish January and start on February. I start doing my thing and then I notice that one of the edges had a major error. I don’t know how I didn’t notice it before but it was very clear that I had skipped a stich at some point on the edge.

Edges, they always kill me. I need to do some research on tips to avoid this type of mistake. I can create a post when I find some interesting tips. I think that what happened this time is that I switched the method to change yarn color and by doing so, I was doing one less stich.

I hesitated on whether I could maybe hide the mistake later on when I would do the edges in white but ultimately, I decided I might as well fix the mistake right away or it would bug me. I sadly had to remove most of the rows and start again. But I won’t make that mistake again! If anyone has tips on how to improve that, please let me know.

I will continue with the project and hopefully I’ll be able to post a completed month of January very soon.
