One of my best friends is having her second baby. I wanted to do something special for her little boy and though I could do a security blanket with a cute rabbit head. When I showed it to her, she said that her oldest (18 month old boy) would probably steal it so I decided to make him one too.
As always, I looked around on YouTube and found this great tutorial from MummaJ Crochet for the star blanket. You can go to her channel and look at the video: https://youtu.be/C8pKzX3Sfmw . She also has a tutorial for the bunny which I can’t wait to start.
In the meantime, these are the blankets I started to crochet. For one, I used the Red Heart Ombre yarn and for the second one I used some leftover yarn I had laying around. Here is the yarn and hook I used.
And below is what it ended up looking like. I added a white edge because the Bunny will be white so I thought it would balance the blanket out.
There are some errors in the final rows but overall I am pretty happy with the result. I will post an update once the bunny is done.
